The XSEED Philosophy



XSEED is the culmination of the latest research in pedagogy and education

Research has shown that not everybody learns in the same way. Some prefer experiments, some like lectures, some like to analyse and make hypotheses while some like to feel and experience for themselves. Our traditional classrooms are ill-equipped to cater to such a variety of learners.



…XSEED celebrates this difference

A typical XSEED class invokes the experience that the children have gone through themselves. They are then made to reflect on the experience, followed up analysis. The children form hypothesis and make theories which they validate or disprove through experimentation. When children learn how to apply their knowledge in a completely new situation the learning cycle is completed taking every type of learner along.

 


Multiple Intelligences


According to research by Dr. Howard Gardner (Harvard Graduate School of Education), there exist multiple intelligences within human beings.

XSEED is designed to develop the different intelligences of the individual children rather than force a uni-dimensional curriculum on them.

Independence

XSEED tries to make critical thinkers out of students. Instead of taking things at face value, the XSEED child explores the way by which an answer can be found and pursues it. Teaching the children to think on their own is an area the XSEED team takes fierce pride in.

Creative expressions

XSEED incorporates ways for the children to express themselves through various means such as prose, poetry, sketches, oral narrations, theater etc. The children are given an opportunity to not only exercise their language and motor skills but also create works limited only by their imagination.
